  83,000 theocratic facilites?

  a bethelite was telling me that there are 83,000 theocratic facilities world wide.

  he compared that to 35,000 mcdonalds and 21,000 starbucks roughly to show the size of the theocratic organization.

  i am not sure where the 83,000 comes from what would he be counting?

  No more printing of WT and Awake in my country.. Shit just got real

  guys .

  a letter was just read in out kh stating that all printing of wt and awake is ceased for the coming year and we will just place tracts on fs, countries which were cared by our branch will be cared by other countries...along with this they read the new fs form and stuff about reporting links of videos wtf..lol.

  i can't tell which country perhaps that will give away a lot, any one with a similar information.

  In a previous post I showed a conversation I was having via Twitter with a witness in India. He was denying that the printing was stopping. I just got another message from him saying this

  Seems like this is really for foreign language groups. Now you just watch your meetings streamed in every week, no need to worry about not having any qualified local brothers giving the talks.

  How does moving up the deadline help to "make the best use of dedicated funds"?

  I guess you are saving some money by moving up the completion date by 3 months. They feed all the workers right? Saving 3 months food costs, that's saving something. Other than that, off the top of my head I can't think how it saves them money.

  Is it true? Heard a rumor WT postphones Disfellowshipping until further notice!!??

  i am not sure if it's true but i heard from a good source that wt has given instructions to elders to postponed disfellowshipping members from wrong doing/gross sin until further instructions given by headquarters.

  i heard some jws were just reproved either privately or publically.

  has anyone else heard anything like this recently?

  Special Pioneer Couple Living at a Kingdom Hall In Miami FL, get the dreaded Letter

  just got a phone call from an older sister saying that a couple that got re-assigned from bethel 4 years ago to live at their kh apartment as special pioneers, just received a letter saying "as of january 2016, your special pioneer assignment will be discontinued".. they live in a south miami kh(snapper creek congregation).. this couple had only served in bethel for 15 years before they were sent out into the special pioneer work.

  they are now in their mid 50's and the sister said that they have to find part time jobs to support themselves.. the older sister (does not have a pc or internet), says that the couple are just devastated!

  Finally had a chance to read over that link I posted about the court case. Watchtower lost their tax exempt status of an apartment attached to a Kingdom Hall. Does anyone know what was the end result? Do they now pay property tax on that Kingdom Hall in Beaverton Oregon?
